What this step asks
Repeat a pattern of 7 tiles on the Medium level. The run opens with 5 tiles and every correct round adds one, so 3 correct rounds take you there. You have 14 rounds and 3 lives; a miss takes a tile off the next pattern and costs you rounds to climb back.
The numbers behind the target
- Opening pattern: 5 tiles on a 4×4 grid, on show for 1100 ms.
- Target pattern: 7 tiles on a 4×4 grid, on show for 1220 ms (60 ms more for every extra tile).
- The grid stays the same size all the way to the target.
- Rounds to spare for slips: 11 of 14.
